About Painting Courses (Art 222, 322, and 522):

Overall, contemporary painting focuses on conceptual and technical advances in the field. Specifically, an emphasis is placed on the development of technical and conceptual skills. These types of skills are necessary in order to realize personal vision and critical evaluations. Furthermore, they help us in our investigation of materials and techniques that are currently being applied by contemporary painters.
