Ed to Present at Brain Food Lunch
Ed will be giving a 15-minute talk on our previous fMRI studies of how children acquire number symbols as part of the Brain Food Lunch series at the Waisman Center next Wednesday, 10/24 at noon.
Development of Numerical Cognition Symposium a Huge Success
On Monday, October 15, nine speakers from all over the United States presented their work as part of a nano-symposium on the Development of Numerical Cognition at the Society for Neuroscience meeting in New Orleans. The symposium attracted about 80 attendees, all of them highly interested in development, numerical cognition and reasoning. All of the talks were great, and the audience asked a number of great questions! Having a forum to bring education to the neuroscientists, is crucial for to growing this emerging field!
