How to Run
- Download PW1.zip
- Extract PW1.zip to local drive
- Launch $DIR/PW1/planetWars.exe
Instructions
- Controls (BOTH) (Welcome) - Press "Spacebar" to move on to MetaMap
- This is a two-player game. So invite a friend to play or play on both teams if you are alone
- The rotating hexagons on both sides demonstrate nodes & dark resources & units each team has and symbolize which team is in turn
- Goal: Stay on nodes to collect resources (for building new ships) and combat units (for later deployment in actual battles). Conquer the galaxy and rule the world!!
- Controls (BOTH) (MetaMap) - Use "Mouse Left Key" to move your ships: select your current node, then click on a desired node to start expanding your territory
- Stay on nodes to collect more combat units from 4 different classes - the more planets you have, the faster the collection speed
- Five different classes of nodes: RED-Fire, BLUE-Water, GREEN-Earth, WHITE-Wind, BLACK-Factory
- Controls (BOTH) (MetaMap) - Press "Spacebar" to build new ships with 10 dark resources, available for collection on black nodes, to expedite unit collection
- Controls (RED) (MetaMap) - End your turn with "Q"
- Controls (BLUE) (MetaMap) - End your turn with "P"
- Encounter enemy ships to initiate wars in MiniGame
- Controls (RED) (MiniGame) - "W", "E" for lane change, "A", "S", "D", "F" for unit selection/deployment
- Controls (BLUE) (MiniGame) - "I", "O" for lane change, "J", "K", "L", ";" for unit selection/deployment
- Attack enemy bases directly with your combat units! RED: attack, GREEN: defend, WHITE: speed, BLUE: average
- End goal: defeat enemy units in MiniGame, crush enemy ships on MetaMap and conquer all planets to win the wars
Notes
- This build has only been tested under Windows 7 x64
- Other Windows versions may or may not work
